Glyn Moody
discusses a paper by
Amit Deshpande and Dirk Riehle from SAP Research that finds that open source
has exponential growth, both in terms of the absolute amount of source code as
well as the growth rate. Glyn Moody concludes that while this "is not
sustainable in the long term, [it shows] that open source creation is
accelerating".
